Still, while Josh Scott and company may have chosen a drastically different form factor from the original, the Plugin captures every detail of the Boss Tone’s wild, raunchy sound — a tone that offers everything from a smooth ‘60s-style saturation to screaming treble-boosted fuzz. Moreover, the Plugin continues the JHS Legends of Fuzz Tradition with a side-mounted Mode switch for extended tonal flexibility.
